Clark for Business is a platform for tutoring companies designed to streamline the way you work. It helps you run the day-to-day (think: managing tutors and students, letting tutors log sessions on-the-go with mobile-friendly tools, communicating with clients, handling payments and finances, and analyzing revenue trends) so you can spend less time on administrative work and more time tutoring.

How much does does Clark for Business cost?

Our pricing varies depending on how large your business is. You’ll be charged a subscription fee on the first of each month + a fee per-session completed for the previous month. (Your first month is prorated based on when you join.) 

If you use Clark for Business to process credit card payments, there will be a 2.9 percent processing fee plus a 30-cent charge per transaction. ACH direct deposit payments have a 1.5% processing fee.

How many tutors, clients, and sessions can I have on Clark for Business? 

There’s no limit! Clark  can accommodate a tutoring company of any size, and our platform will support you as you grow.

Do I need to download any software to access Clark for Business? 

Nope. You can access the Clark dashboard from any internet-connected device—there’s no need to download any special software.

Can I use Clark for Business on a tablet or phone? 

Yes! You can access Clark for Business on any device that connects to the internet. We’ve tailored our tools for mobile devices so they’re easy to use on-the-go, which lets tutors log sessions or send messages without needing to be in front of a computer.

How do I get started using Clark for Business?

When you sign up, we’ll connect you with a member of our customer success team. They’ll get you all of the information you need to log in and get started on your own. If you’d like, we can also walk you through the entire setup process over the phone or on a video call. If you’re in the New York City area, we’d love to get you set up (and meet!) in person.

How do my clients pay?

Clients can pay by credit or debit card — whichever they prefer.

What if my clients want to pay with cash or check?

No problem! Soon we’ll have an easy invoicing system to accommodate cash and check payments, as well.

Can you integrate with my payroll system?

Payroll integration is coming soon! For now, Clark takes care of all the calculations so you know what to pay your tutors in a given pay period.

Is my clients’ personal information secure? 

Absolutely. Clark uses a payment processor called Stripe to make sure that sensitive data like credit and debit card numbers are protected. Stripe stores payment information on a secure server and keeps it private—here at Clark, we’ll only ever have access to the card type (Visa, for example) and the last 4 digits, which we’ll reference only for verification purposes when communicating with you about your account.

Can I use Clark for Business to find new clients? 

Clark  isn’t a marketing or recruiting tool, but we do help you keep track of your existing clients more efficiently, so you can focus more energy on growing your company.
