What is an engagement?
An engagement is the partnership between a student and a tutor for a specific subject and rate. Tutors can have multiple engagements with different students, or with the same students in different subject areas.
How do I create an engagement?
From the tutor's page, select 'Link/Add Client' or from the client's page select 'Add Tutor'. If there are existing engagements these buttons will appear at the bottom of the screen.
Now simply fill out the information and select 'Create Engagement' and you're all set!
How do I edit an engagement?
Click on the pencil icon in the top right corner of the engagement summary.
Change whatever information you'd like or cancel the changes in the top left corner.
How do I delete an engagement?
Make sure your engagement has no unbilled sessions. If it does have sessions attached to it, you can either invoice them or delete them. Click to edit the engagement. An engagement without sessions or with sessions that are all paid for will have 'Delete Engagement' in red at the bottom.
Simply click 'Delete Engagement' and confirm in the pop up. Voilà! the engagement is gone!
